Privacy Policy

This site is run by Ahmed Ismail Krim, a photographer and filmmaker based in Vilnius, Lithuania. It exists to show work and to let people get in touch. It is not a shop, it has no accounts, and it does not track visitors.

What this site collects

Almost nothing. There is no analytics software on this site — no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no heatmaps, no visitor tracking of any kind. Nobody is building a profile of you here.

Cookies

One cookie is used, named cookiebar. It is set only when you dismiss the cookie notice, it stores the single value "1", and it exists so the notice does not reappear on every page. It expires after one year, and deleting it in your browser simply brings the notice back.

No advertising or tracking cookies are set.

Your server logs

Like any website, the server that hosts these pages records standard request information — IP address, browser type, which page was requested and when. This is ordinary web server behaviour, used to keep the site running and secure. It is not linked to anything else and not used to identify you.

Content loaded from elsewhere

Some parts of the site are served by other companies, which means your browser makes a request to them and they can see your IP address:

• jQuery and Masonry — small code libraries loaded from public content networks so pages load faster.
• Vimeo and YouTube — where a film is embedded. These providers may set their own cookies when a video loads. Their policies govern that, not this one.

Fonts are served from this site's own server, so no font provider sees your visit.

Email

If you write to hello@ahmedismailkrim.com, that message and address are kept so the conversation can continue. They are not added to a mailing list and not passed to anyone else. Ask and they will be deleted.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what personal data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its use, or ask for a copy. Because this site holds so little, in most cases the answer will be that there is nothing beyond an email thread. Write to hello@ahmedismailkrim.com and you will get a reply within thirty days.

If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In Lithuania that is the State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI).

Changes

If this policy changes, the date below changes with it.
